A large number of fake certificates are being investigated. These certificates claim proficiency in a sport and were allegedly used to secure government jobs. Around 60 candidates have been identified as using such certificates to approach government departments. Some of these candidates may have even secured jobs, including in the police department.
Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. They are office-bearers of a state sports association.
