Plans are underway to build safer crossings. The goal is to reduce deaths from trespassing on railway tracks. New facilities will be built at stretches where trespassing is common.

Three locations have been identified so far. These include areas near a carshed and certain railway stretches. A fourth location is also being considered, but it has not been specified yet.

The design and dimensions of the new crossings have not been finalised. A recently completed project may serve as a model for the new facilities. Further details are available from the source.
