Tight security measures are in place for the 18th BRICS Summit, with around 15,000 police personnel and 200 companies of paramilitary forces deployed. More than 500 CCTV cameras have been installed to monitor the area. Temporary traffic curbs are also in effect across over 35 roads.
The summit will bring together top world leaders and is scheduled to take place from September 12 to 13, 2026. It will be hosted at the Bharat Mandapam.
