The daily spot fine collection target has been reduced to ₹ 3,000 for health teams. Previously, the target was ₹ 5,000, but most zones struggled to achieve it. The reduction aims to make the target more achievable.

Health teams can impose spot fines for various violations, including littering, using polythene, and improper disposal of waste. Fines can also be imposed for selling meat in the open and dumping construction waste.

Further details about the revised target and the types of violations that can result in spot fines are available from the Bhopal Municipal Corporation. The civic body made the revision to adjust the daily target for its 21 zones.
