Indian athletes are preparing for unique accommodation at the Asian Games by training in shipping container rooms. The containers have limited space, with beds just over six feet long and close walls. This setup is meant to simulate the living arrangements awaiting them in Japan, where there will be no conventional athletes' village.

The Sports Authority of India has set up these makeshift container rooms at its centres to help athletes get used to the unfamiliar setup. The Asian Games are scheduled to begin on September 19. Further details about the preparation and the games are available from the source.
